Our Weekend

Tanner, cousins Amber, Cassandra, Megan and Camryn before going on the Alpine Slide in Park City. With Dallin and Camryn being off track from school, and cousins being in town, we let Tanner skip school for a fun day in Park City. It was a little rainy at first and we didn't think we were going to get to go, so instead we tried the "roller coaster" slide, and had the time of our lives! We LOVED it!!!
Megan, Camryn, Dallin, Cassandra, Amber, and Tanner on the lift up the mountain.
The rain let up, and the track dried enough to let us go on the Alpine slide. It was a little slick, but that made it a little faster ride....what a blast!
The colors were beautiful this time of year, and we just had a really fun family day. Take notice of the size of the children compared to their mom.....I feel small!!! Tanner has passed me way up, and Camryn is well on her way.

All the mom's met Friday night to deck the cars out for the boys' game on Saturday. Team pride wasn't enough....

Saturday was the first day...and the last day of the playoffs for Tanner's team. Tanner did well, but they team they played was just really good! We won't mention the score, but we will say that Tanner had a great season and is looking forward to the next sport season....basketball!

Rock Band For Hire.....

So, yesterday Dallin and his friend put together a "rock band" (therefore the fauxhawk)....and they were cute enough that a passerby paid them a dollar each. Maybe they have a future as the newest 7 year old garage band. Dallin was on keyboard, and Ryan on the drum (which was a 50 gallon blue water storage container). If only I got a picture of that.....they were at Ryan's house.

WE GREW PUMPKINS!!!

Yes, it's true! This year we had a garden, and grew our own pumpkins. So, last night Camryn and Dallin picked theirs. They had so much fun watching them grown, and had theirs dubsed(sp!!) from early in the season when they started. Tanner has one too, but as you may have guessed, it is still in the garden waiting (hoping it will get bigger than theirs), because he was at football......

The King of Football!

So the pro photographer (Dawn) caught this photo a little late, but we still thought we'd post it cuz it's kinda funny. Tanner is not the one running the ball, he is actually the one getting tackled on the right. The neat part is that he is a pro at the "hook and ladder" play, so this was a part of the big touchdown for the winning game. Tanner has made a lot of touchdowns this season, but also has been a big part in the "assists" in touchdowns. Great football lingo I know, but I'll tell you that this season has been so fun to watch him play. It's actually a GAME!

Soccer - O - Rama

Dallin's favorite position in soccer is being the goalie. And as you can see, in this game he didn't get a whole lot of action....but he is ready! Lane told him he needed to be a bit more aggressive when he was playing offense, so we did get a little of that too. He is a funny kid!

Our Family

This is actually last year's picture, but I thought I should include a family picture of us. Tanner has grown about 5 inches and the other two are much bigger too! This year has been great though, and we are blessed to be part of a great family!

Okay, Enough Already

After much persuasion from two sisters of mine, I guess our new family blog is started! Thanks to Paige for actually doing it, and Amber for her gentle persuasions, this is it! Our family blog!!!
